MANUFACTURING

. 2. -Weaving
Weaving remains the essential step. The craftsman commonly resorts to the « à l’aiguille » technique (needlework), as can be seen in the previous chapter entitled « A brief history ». This allows for a proper blending of the original colours with the new thread, leaving rehabilitation unsuspected. I will exceptionnaly use this technique for your creations, so as to obtain perfect outlining and sharpness of colours, as well as an extremely fine end result.

3. -The results
A couple of weeks will be necessary to complete a quality piece for an average frame of 40X60 cm, depending on the choice of fabrics, wool, silk, exceptionally gold or silver yarn, the number of colours and the complexity of designs.
